| RELAX & RENEW:A more soothing, restorative series of postures practiced in a gently heated room that will allow your body and mind to find more surrender and ease.YIN YOGA:Yin Yoga emphasizes the connective tissues of the hips, thighs, pelvis and lower spine. It is characterized by the relaxed practice of floor postures for several minutes at a time. This class will also introduce the foundations of mindfulness techniques. What are the benefits: • Feel Calm and Balanced • Increase Strength and Endurance • Improve Health • Lower Stress • Sleep Better • Recover from some injuries faster • Improve your vinyasa/power yoga practice • Meditative Practice HOT HATHA:This 90 minute class is a therapeutic and invigorating collection of postures suitable for students at all levels. While it is a whole body practice, there is more emphasis on spine strengthening and weight bearing compressions for the joints. While the sequencing is similar to a bikram style class, it differs in that there is more flow and more variation in the poses. It does not include the chaturanga dandasana “yoga push-up” so is a wonderful compliment to students in a power vinyasa practice and is also an alternative for those recovering from wrist and shoulder issues.
YIN/VIN:A perfectly balanced mix of Prana Power Yoga and Yin yoga. For the first 1/2 of class, you will practice our Prana Power Flow, building strength and coordination, practicing deep breathing, warming up and stretching your muscles. For the 2nd half of class, you will move into a more quiet, still space. Staying on the floor, you will hold postures for 3-5 minutes, activating and working the connective tissue in your joints, and in doing so, increase flexibility and mobility in the spine, hips and shoulders. Vin / Yin provides the best of both worlds.
