Has work been getting the best of you? Do you find yourself becoming stressed out as the week progresses? Well, if you're looking for a way to unwind from your busy schedule, it's time to check out Prana Power Yoga's Self-Care Saturday occurring March 15th from 6-8 p.m. With the first hour being a Vinyasa flow and the second, restorative yoga, this is a beneficial way to end your week and feel refreshed throughout your weekend.
Another unique aspect of this class is that there will be multiple instructors giving hands-on assists to help deepen your experience. If you're unfamiliar with this, do not fear. Having more than one yoga instructor in the room during a class is like the cherry on top of an overflowing ice cream cone. Instructors will gently guide and support you through a deeper range of motion and help you achieve your desired intensity.
If you're new to yoga, do not think this is just for the experts. There's no better time to break out of your comfort zone and try yoga than with this two-part class. A Vinyasa flow will allow you to experience an actual class complete with sun salutations and standard poses. The restorative hour will enhance your ability to mediate, focus and complete your practice with satisfaction and esteem. An amazing feeling that will have you wishing every week would end this way.
You can register now by visiting Prana's website or at the studio itself. Prana Power Yoga Cambridge is located on the second floor of 585 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, MA 02139. If you sign up prior to the workshop, the cost is $35. Choosing to wait it out and see how you feel will cost you $40.
So give your body the two-hour stretch, strengthen and relaxation it's craving. Challenge yourself by changing up your typical Saturday night routine and unroll your mat. And while we're sure that Bud Light will loosen you right up after a stressful week, aim for a more lasting effect that your body will be grateful for. You'll wake Sunday morning renewed and ready for the week ahead. We can't say the same about your current weekend plans. Meditate on that.
